Bungonia National Park

Camping in Bungonia National Park on a scorching 40-degree weekend was an unforgettable experience. Despite the heat and the crazy amount of sandflies around, the stunning scenery it was such a lovely weekend away. We didnt do much bushwalking this trip - we stayed closed to camp.

While the heat was challenging, we made sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in the shade. Camping in Bungonia National Park on a hot summer weekend may not be for everyone, but for those who love adventure and the great outdoors, it's a beautiful National Park defintely worth a visit!

Our darling Edith had a ball! She loved playing in the tent - jumping on the air mattress and just running around collecting sticks. Makes the 40 degree heat worth it!
